Project Highlights

The new training facility for the IUOE Local 926 includes ground-up construction of the primary building and rehab of an existing metal building.

The new building houses the offices, classrooms, and training rooms, while the existing building is primarily for equipment storage. Key program elements include a classroom, simulation room, and training/maintenance bay. Pops of red paint both highlight (and protect!) exposed metal elements and provide visual interest. A “bird’s nest” lookout off the mezzanine level of the training bay provides a comprehensive view of the training site when giving tours to prospective members and students.
