organized, friendly, dedicated, reliable, animal lover, outdoorsy, traveler, dancer, wine + beer enthusiast, LSU Tiger, Saints fan

I grew up in northern Louisiana in the small town of Natchitoches. At 10 years old, I eagerly started taking art classes that introduced me to a variety of mediums. My wonderful teachers nurtured my creative spirit and ignited my lifelong passion for all things art.

Following a long-held family tradition, I attended LSU. I initially pursued graphic design, but everything changed when I took a drafting class. It was then that I realized my true calling lay in interior architecture, and I never looked back!

After graduation, I moved to New Orleans and kickstarted my career. After a few years, I hoped for a change of scenery and fresh career opportunities, bringing me to Atlanta. Over the last 25+ years, I’ve worked at architectural and design firms on a wide variety of design types and project sizes. In 2006, I was introduced to Revit, a software that forever changed the way I approach my work. I’ve since been mastering the software and have even taken on roles as a part-time BIM Manager, assisting in establishing and optimizing firm standards and procedures.

I was drawn to VDG because of the variety of project types and the incredible company culture, and I look forward to bringing my years of design and Revit experience to mentor younger designers on the team.

Outside of work, I love traveling and spending quality time with my husband. Whether we’re hiking, camping, heading to the beach, or simply enjoying drinks with friends, we love our outdoor adventures!
