Kayla Robinson

Jr. Interior Designer

organized, artistic, driven, adventure seeker, avid coffee lover, Pittie mom, wine enthusiast, foodie, diy-er

I was born and raised in a small city just outside of Savannah, where growing up consisted of a mixture of rural and city life, with plenty of trips to Tybee Island. I have always been fascinated by architecture and design, scoping out the interiors of every building I walked into. As a child, I found myself space planning floor plans with my younger sister’s colored blocks and dollhouse furniture. I knew I wanted to be in the design field incredibly early on, before I even understood the terminology or knew what “interior design” really was.

Eventually, I found myself four hours from home in Athens to pursue my passion for interior design at the University of Georgia. Throughout my college career, I obtained knowledge in the residential design industry but found out very quickly that I am drawn to the creativity of corporate and hospitality design. At UGA, I got a bachelor’s degree in interior design, a minor in general business, and a certificate of entrepreneurship. I am a proud UGA alumni (Go Dawgs!), and I have since landed at Vickers Design Group where I was drawn to everyone’s kindness and the welcoming, fun environment they have created.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my friends, family, and fur baby, wedding planning, doing DIY projects, and shopping at any store that TJX Companies owns, after getting coffee, of course.
